 How does the booking process work?

  • Check my online calendar to see if I am available
  • Send me an email enquiry, use the contact form on this website or give me a call (contact link)
  • I will then send you a booking form with my fees and personal particulars form to complete and return to me
  • To secure my services, I require a ZAR 600 deposit and the balance is payable 3 weeks before your wedding.
  • Once I have received your deposit, I will then confirm your booking in my diary and in my online calendar.
  • I will then begin communicating what is required from a legal side for your marriage to be registered (See FAQ)
  • We will then discuss (either via email, phone or Skype) what kind of wedding ceremony you would like.
  • We will plan to meet for coffee at some stage before your wedding, even if it is a few days before.
  • On the day of your wedding I issue you an abridged marriage certificate and the second copy of the marriage register.
  • Within 3 days of your wedding, I submit your relevant documents to Home Affairs
  • If you are a couple residing outside of South Africa, I will then apply for your unabridged marriage certificate and arrange for the relevant Apostille Stamp to be affixed
